The Wedding Photos

Originally, I was only planning to put up the pictures taken by our professional photographer. However, circumstances changed, and I elected to put up copies of all the pictures I was able to get from the wedding. I know, maybe overkill, but seeing different perspectives is kind of cool.

What originally caused me to get the additional photos was word from our photographer of an incident at the film processor. So, I sent out an urgent plea for any of the guests to send any pictures that they had of the wedding. Through the magic of ditital photography, digital film development, CD-ROMs and e-mail, I got back a nice number of responses. All of the photos are now posted here. Each of the following pages is a display of each person's contributions.

In the end, the professional photographer was able to electronically recover several photos that he'd not been willing to present to me on paper. He was able to deliver 174 pictures to me via CD-ROM, including some that never made it to paper that we'd really wanted.

You just gotta love the digital age. Not only can I put up all of our wedding pictures for people to peruse as they see fit, but I can use the web to help fight personal disasters. At any rate, here's the pictures...

PLEASE NOTE: While I have taken the time to thumbnail the images, there are a fair amount of them. Also, the thumbnails link to pictures, many of which are rather large (1-3MB). It is recommend that viewing be done over broadband.
